First Floor Home Renovation
A first-floor refurbishment transforming an impractical four-bedroom layout with two small box rooms into a spacious and modern three double-bedroom family home. The redesign focused on improving both flow and functionality, including the relocation of the family bathroom and the removal of a structural wall to create a generous third bedroom better suited to modern living.
The main bedroom presented a challenging layout due to the existing chimney breast and ensuite position. Rather than removing the chimney breast, bespoke built-in cabinetry was designed to frame the bed, maximise storage and create a more balanced, cohesive layout with a calm feel.
Two new bathrooms were also created, each with its own distinct contemporary style featuring modern fittings and tiling. The spaces combine practicality with a refined, luxurious aesthetic. Throughout the project, tailored joinery, layered textures and a soft, modern palette were used to create a home that feels both highly functional and visually cohesive.
