Gorms Pizza

Pizza restaurant in Copenhagen set within a large shell space with high ceilings. The design reworked the original volume by introducing a mezzanine level and tiered seating that steps up from the main dining floor, creating layered dining zones and improving spatial flow while maintaining a strong sense of openness and connection across the space.

The interior combines a modern Scandinavian-Italian sensibility with a focus on warmth and tactility. Rustic encaustic tiles are used as a feature element to add texture and visual interest, complemented by concrete tones and natural timber cabinetry, which helps define and subtly divide the different areas. The result is a relaxed, contemporary dining environment that feels social, informal, and architecturally considered.

Project completed at Studio Duncalf.
