Steel House

Luxury hostel in Copenhagen, with design focused on the public areas including cinema, games room, self-service kitchen, lounge, bar, indoor pool and gym. The concept brings together a wide range of social and recreational spaces to create a vibrant, communal environment for guests.

The interior adopts an industrial aesthetic, exposing the building’s original concrete structure and celebrating its raw materiality. This is softened with warm, cosy lounge areas and carefully layered lighting to create contrast and comfort. The reception desk is expressed as a sculptural geometric form, echoing the exterior architecture and reinforcing the building’s bold, industrial identity throughout the interior.
